Our Why

- Meet Your Master Instructors

- Meet Your Master Instructors

Hello sunshine, I’m your girl Naomi Rose, Founder & Master Instructor of NovaPulse. Starting dance at 15, I was a late comer. I had little options to catch up on skills for a career in dance, but I did have all the confidence in the world and a big sprinkle of talent for my place in every class and competition I could find, which lead me to train and travel as a representative of Ireland for World Championships and experience performing and learning alongside the best dancers in the industry. Movement was my medicine that gave me energy and made me happy. I wanted to share these gifts with the world, so I started teaching dance for children and fitness for adults by the age of 16. Despite all of this physical activity in my life, I believed I hated working out. I let other peoples beliefs define my perception of exercise and what it meant to move. It was only when I understood and redefined what the words “training” and “exercise” meant in my life that I started to LOVE working out. So here we are, sharing a virtual space with incredible people like you to redefine what it means to “workout” by moving our bodies to music and feeling great about it. Our possibilities are endless when we have energy and happiness as a base. Let’s do this.

Hey lovely, I’m Carla Mae, Co-Founder & Master Instructor of NovaPulse. My passion for movement became clear around the age of nine, when I went to my father with tears in my eyes asking if I could take one more dance class per week in the upcoming school year. Although I trained in a recreational program, you could find me signing myself up for dance competitions with handmade costumes on the weekends and choreographing my own routines in the basement on school nights. All I ever wanted since then was to make people feel as good as I did when I was dancing. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have been able to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Art in Dance at Western Michigan University, travel the world performing and teaching, and now share this amazing virtual community with all of you to continue doing what I love the most - moving my body to music. Thanks for being here! I’m so excited to see what we can create together.

Let us tell you less, and move with you more.

Come see what all the fuss is about!
